Dolores Vigil graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master Degree in Social Work.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the State of Florida and a member of the National Association of Social Workers and  the American Counseling Association.
Dolores has years of experience counseling teenagers, victims of domestic violence, individuals, couples  and families dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, and communication issues.  As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Dolores’ approach to counseling encompasses not only the patient, but also the circumstances surrounding him or her, that might impact on how the individual is feeling or acting.   She is fluent in Spanish and English and believes in an eclectic avenue  to counseling, utilizing evidenced based current therapeutic  techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, empowering the patients through education, empathy and understanding, to realize the potential that we all have to improve our lives.

Dolores has been a member of Holy Family Parish for over 25 years and enjoys exercising, reading, spending time with her family and friends and designing custom jewelry.
